Context:

Wiener Privatklinik is one of the largest Austrian private hospitals that has become a medical destination for patients looking for the latest technologies and treatments. In 2016, when establishing its first medical representative outside Vienna, in Bucharest, Romania, WPK hired Pi2 to be its external PR & marketing division for the Romanian market, and later for Bulgaria and other CEE markets.

Objectives:

The challenge was to build the WPK brand on the new markets for a long term presence but also come up with the necessary mix of activations so that patients are aware of the latest medical options both in terms of technology & innovation as well as medical expertise & protocols.

Solutions:

Pi2 has developed an integrated B2C marketing & PR plan that included mixed earned media, paid campaigns and annual medical events to meet patients and communicate on the most innovative technologies and treatments.

Results:

+ 21 million impressions on earned media
